Mae’r Hen Ysgol wedi ei leoli ym mhentref hynafol, byrlymog Trap. Mae’n Neuadd Bentref gydag adnodd niferus, wedi’i osod yng nghefn gwlad brydferth Sir Gar, ar yr ochr orllewinol o Barc Cenedlaethol Bannau Brycheiniog. Gwelir yr afon Cennen yn llifo o dan Pont hanesyddol y pentref rhwng Ffairfach a Drefach. Gwelir Castell Carreg Cennen i’r dwyrain o’r Neuadd. Mae yna gyfle i ymweld â Llygad Llwchwr, Llwybr Ffordd Brycheiniog, Beddau’r Derwyddon, Tair Carn a Carreg Dwfn.

The Old School is based in the thriving, historic village of Trap. It is a well appointed village hall set in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside on the western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Afon Cennen flows through the village and is bridged there by the road from Ffairfach to Drefach. One mile to the east and visible from the hall, are the remains of Carreg Cennen Castle. Visit also Llygad Llwchwr, the Breacon Way, Pillow mounds, the Tair Carn and Carreg Dwfn.
